General Musings / Write On

Today is day one of my self-created blogging adventure/challenge. I am honestly a bit skeptical that I can fulfill it, seeing as how I’ve had trouble in the past with even doing an entire month of posts. And it’s the beginning of summer. And I have a newborn (more on that later).

However, this blog has been idle for too long. It’s not that I didn’t want to write, or didn’t have anything to write about–I have multiple lists of blog topic ideas floating around–I just haven’t been making it a priority. Yet I want to write, I yearn to write, and I frankly need the practice. Unused muscles become weak, and I need get my writing strength back.

Of course, not every post will be words; I’ve been trying to build my photography skills as well, so there will be some posts which feature mainly (or only) images.

I fully expect these posts to cover a wide range of topics, as my previous posts have: parenting, yes, but also theology, cooking, politics and social justice, green living, art, education, crafting…I have a lot of interests!

Please bear with me as I get back into the flow of writing. I’m feeling rusty (and like I have a bit of baby brain-fog) and things may just not be of very high quality at first, but I’m hoping as I move through these 100 days, that will improve.

I mean, that’s kind of the point.
