Tasty Tuesday: Yummy Farmhouse Bread

Just Eat It

Ok, so there’s no such thing as Tasty Tuesday (as far as I know). I totally made that up. It’s really just an excuse to get a quick post done and brag that I made delicious bread today. Three loaves, one of which now looks like this:

Delicious farmhouse bread

Delicious farmhouse bread dipped in flavored oil–YUM!

I got the recipe from Farmgirl Fare. I didn’t have enough regular white flour, so I used about half all-purpose and half white whole wheat. It’s moist and flavorful and I’m so going to make more and experiment with different flours and add-ins (I now work part-time for a spice company, so I’m dying to try some of their stuff). But for now, I will enjoy the three two-and-a-half loaves I have with lots of toast, sandwiches, olive oil, and breakfast foods. Mmmm…

  1. Hi. I found you on the ever-growing NaBloPoMo list. (It’s gone from hundreds to thousands of bloggers. Remarkable). Your blog name intrigued me, so I stopped by. That bread looks delicious, but, unfortunately, I’m gluten/wheat free.
Blessing to you on the adoption process. I have friends who have and are going through the same.

I can feel the delicate aroma of the bake.
I love bakery products, especially when they are homemade.
