Mother’s Day

Adoption / Foster Care / General Musings

Today has been exhausting. Church, then I taught confirmation, then I did the invocation and benediction for a college commencement, which took up the entire afternoon. Fortunately, I had no evening commitments, so E and I went to Outback for dinner (where they handed out carnations to moms). When we got home, E gave me his gifts. He also gave me a construction paper, unfolded card which read:

Mommy you are The best thanks for caring about me all these days. Thank you for all the hard work you do I love you and always will. You are the best mom ever You keep me safe you make me happy. I love your smile you light up my day. I’ll say that as long as I live I love you thank you for being awsome I love you I always will you saved me from dark days and made me bright. Love you. Happy mothers Day!!!

Totally brought tears to my eyes. How could it not? Seriously. Love. This. Kid.

Baby Bumpy due to arrive around 5/25/15! This blog chronicles my thoughts on faith, family, and the wild adventure we call Life!
